Components and Architecture

E911 Anywhere® has two primary components: E911 Manager®, which serves as a location information server inside the enterprise and the E911 Anywhere® VoIP Positioning Center (VPC).

E911 Manager®

E911 Manager® is on-premise software that is installed on a server in the enterprise. E911 Manager® tracks the location of phones inside and outside the enterprise in real time and sends up-to-date location information to the E911 Anywhere® VPC. E911 Manager® also provides real-time 9-1-1 call notifications via screen pops to security computers.

E911 Anywhere® VPC

The E911 Anywhere® VPC stores and validates all location information and, when a 9-1-1 calls is made, the VPC accepts the call, retrieves the location associated with the call and forwards the call to the correct PSAP using a national selective router network.
